Dr. Abram Collard

Dr. Abram Collard’s parenting philosophy ties directly with his profession as a pediatrician.

“Becoming a parent is life-altering. It has challenged and enriched my life in ways I could not have imagined. Similarly, my experience becoming a physician has been truly transformative.

During my clinical rotations as a medical student, I found myself gravitating towards children in the hospital needing care. Children, especially when sick, cannot take care of themselves. I wanted to be able to help them and I realized they needed someone who could understand them and their special medical needs.”

Dr. Collard is a native of Southeastern Idaho, and spent many hours fishing the South Fork as a youth. He lettered in football, wrestling, and baseball at Idaho Falls High School before attending BYU-Idaho. He also served a mission in Arkansas for his church, and served in the U.S. Air Force prior to attending medical school. He is thoroughly committed to providing the best pediatric care available.

Dave Robinson, PA-C

Dave Robinson finds working in pediatrics extremely rewarding:

“We have the best patient population in the world and I feel it is a privilege and an honor to have parents trust me in the care of their children.

Pediatrics presents a unique and sometimes challenging field of medicine. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and their parents to improve health and wellness. I strive to treat my patients as I would my own children, always having their best interests in mind.”

Dave grew up in Salem, Idaho and graduated from Sugar-Salem High School. He was active in basketball, football, track, and served a mission in Brazil for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He received his PA training at Cornell in NYC and has worked in Oklahoma, Washington, and now is happy to be serving the people of his hometown community.

Telemedicine Appointments

Step 1

Call the office to schedule an appointment.

In some situations, based on the care your child needs, telemedicine may not be appropriate (for example, with some injuries or routine well child check-ups, the provider needs to physically examine the patient).

Our staff can help you determine which appointment type would be best.

Step 2

At your appointment time, enter the doxy.me telemedicane virtual waiting room, fill in your information, and wait to be connected. Please call if you have any questions or technical problems.

In-Person Appointments

Step 1

Call the office to schedule an appointment.

To limit potential exposure to a variety of illnesses, we are scheduling all newborn and well child check-ups in the morning from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Sick appointments will be scheduled after lunch from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

Step 2

Come to the office at your scheduled time.

To help keep you safe, we are taking extra precautions and have implemented the following changes:

  • Check-in: Once you have arrived, please call to check-in over the phone. Any co-pays will be collected over the phone. Other payments can be made using the patient portal.
  • We are asking all patients to wait in their car, when possible. As soon as we have prepared your room, a staff member will come out to your car and direct you in.
  • We have temporarily modified the waiting room seating to accommodate social distancing guidelines for patients who are unable to wait in a vehicle. Please note that toys, books, and the play area are unavailable at this time.
